International Internship Course with Julie Andreshak-Behrman

The IIC combines experiential learning together with classroom seminars in order to provide students the opportunity to reflect on and analyse their own learning and development through dialogue and written work.  Credit is given for reflective written work based on the internship experience. Therefore, the grade for the IIC will be a reflection of the quality of the written work through its detail, clarity and analysis as well as the degree of positive engagement with the seminar sessions.

This course is to introduce you to the british life its culture its makeup both geographically and politically. It also shows the businesses operate in the uK
History of Modern Design

This course focuses on Britain and looks at a huge range of objects  that have been part of people's lives during the last 250 years, from buildings, to clothes, to London's tube, and more. We look at beautiful objects, useful objects, mass-produced objects, hand-made objects. The course provides an introductory overview of the history of design in Britain from the industrial Revolution to the present day, and will help students to think about the importance of design in daily life both in the past and today.

British Life and Business - NIKOULINA

The course serves as the anchor of a study programme in London, offering students an opportunity to place what they are learning in their other courses into a larger, contemporary context. It also enables students to appreciate more of what they observe during their stay in Britain. The course provides a comprehensive examination of British culture and life, as well as looks at the economic history of Britain and examines its the impact of the economic development onto today's life and culture in the UK.

Economic Integration of the European Union

The course provides a comprehensive examination of the processses of European economic integration and a critical analysis of EU policies in a broader political-economic context. It focuses on the external dimension of Europe in the global economy, the integration processes of the EU, including the Single Market, EMU, CAP and its impact of global economics, ranging from the WTO to EU enlargement.

International Trade - Drexel

The course examines the elements of international trade and its role and impact on development of enterprise and economy. The following topics will be examined: development of the world's trading sytem, international trade theories, protectionism and free trade; regional economic blocks, FX markets and monetary systems, FDI and Modes of Entry.
Financial Management

This is an introductory course in financial management and is designed to provide students with a foundation in financial analysis and financial decision-making under a variety of conditions.  We will cover such areas of finance as value and capital budgeting, risk and return, and capital structure.
