Matt Chiaverini grew up right outside of New York City in Westchester County, New York. He earned his BA in Psychology at The State University of New York at Albany. He then earned his MS in Guidance and Counseling at The College of New Rochelle.
In 2008, Matt moved to Phoenix, Arizona where he worked for two years as a High School Guidance Counselor and Football Coach. In 2010, he decided to pursue his passion for international education and moved abroad to Europe. He spent five years teaching English mainly in Spain, Italy and South Korea. He then worked as a Study Abroad Program Coordinator for international exchange programs at the University of Texas at Austin. Most recently, he has worked as a Resident Director at The University of New Haven Tuscany Campus.
In his spare time, Matt enjoys traveling, reading, weightlifting and spending time with his friends and family.
