After completing a Master’s in Modern Languages for Communication and International Cooperation, Silvia moved to London where she worked at the Prince’s Trust as an office volunteer in Fundraising Operations. She later moved to Windsor and worked at the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, in both cases working closely with young, at times disadvantaged people. Her experience has only boosted and enhanced her passion for making a positive impact on young people's development through study and working abroad. Study abroad is an opportunity to leave one's comfort zone and gain a better understanding of the world, which will help young people become more caring, smart, genuine and strong adults. She believes that the key to success is a combination of kindness, determination, experience and a sound thirst for knowledge.
Silvia is also a committed environmentalist, lover of nature, the sea and the beach, healthy food and dogs.
