Did your participation in study abroad change the way you think about your teaching?: "It is always a good idea to get out of one's own bubble and studying abroad is the ideal way to do that.  We were lucky that there were many significant developments in Britain at the time we visited and it was fascinating to be in another country at a time like that. Being able to introduce students to another culture is a wonderful way to see how the ideas that you work on in the classroom or online come to life when you visit the locations studied.  Although I was very familiar with London it was a delight to see the excitement the students  experienced in discovering London and England."
