How do I see a doctor?

You can make an appointment at our local GP surgery, Thomas Court Medical Centre. Further details can be found on our Medical Services page.


How do I submit an insurance claim?

If you are covered by Endsleigh Travel Insurance, visit our Insurance page for further information on your insurance policy and how to make a claim.


How do I submit a maintenance report?

Please visit Binary Hub reception in Block A to report maintenance requests.


Is there a gym nearby?

Yes, there’s one in Binary Hub! As well as a number of gyms and fitness facilities in the area. Further details can be found on our Fitness page.


What do I do if I lose my keys and/or fob?

Immediately report to Binary Hub Reception and they’ll sort you out with a new set. Please note there are charges for replacements.


What do I do if my Leap Card is lost or stolen?

Please notify the FIE Dublin team immediately. Replacements are free of charge, but you will need to pay for the cost of your travel while you’re waiting for your replacement. Replacements should arrive within 3-4 working days.


What do I do if my wallet is lost or stolen?

Cancel your credit cards and notify your bank as soon as possible. If the wallet is stolen, report it to the Gardaí. We have a phone in our office that you can use to phone your bank/the Gardaí if needed. If you aren’t able to access your money until you receive your new cards, please contact Student Life for support.


Where can my family/friends stay when they visit?

There are plenty of hotels and hostels in the local area – nothing in Dublin is very far away! Check out the Google map above to explore the local area and find something in your budget. 


Which libraries can I sign up to? 

FIE students have access to libraries at their academic institutions, who have extensive resources and study spaces. Students can also sign up for a membership card at Dublin’s Public Libraries using the Libraries in Ireland online form.
