Giuseppe Telesca, PhD
Giuseppe Telesca studied at the University of Florence, where he graduated in Political Science and obtained his PhD in Business History. Since then he undertook post-doctoral research as Jean Monnet Fellow at the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies (European University Institute, Florence), where he currently holds a position of research associate. He has published extensively on the history of the Olympics and on the economic and urban impact of big sports events on host cities/countries. He has taught sports history and business history both at an undergraduate and postgraduate level in China, France, Italy, Japan and the United Kingdom.
