Becca is a recent Master’s graduate in International Business at the University of Hertfordshire. Prior to that, she gained a Bachelor’s in Business Studies which involved a study abroad year in Fresno, California. It was her experiences in the US that led her to pursue a career in international higher education. Her first role upon her return was as a Study Abroad Advisor at the University of Hertfordshire, and now she looks forward to continuing on this career path as Academic and Experiential Education Administrator at FIE. She recognises the value of international education, and is keen to keep applying her experience in her role as part of the Experiential Education team.
Becca has an insatiable passion for travelling, and adores being in different cities experiencing their differing cultural surroundings, as well as their cuisines. Her passion for travelling has inspired her to begin learning a new language, Spanish.
One of her greatest and proudest achievements to date has been volunteering at the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic games. She found it a great honour to represent the UK, and also such fun being surrounded by world-class athletes.
In her spare time, Becca loves to keep fit. One of the ways she does this is by participating in sponsored walks and runs, raising money for charities close to her heart. Two great events that she participates in annually is the Crohn’s and Colitis 5km walk, and the Cancer Research UK Race for Life 5km run. She hopes to participate in the London marathon one day!
