Originally from Macedonia, Svetlana completed her BA at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, where she subsequently spent four years working as an English Literature and Contemporary English instructor. She packs a breadth of experience in teaching language arts, social studies and research methodology, as well as in translation, interpreting and newsreading. Most recently, Svetlana was awarded a scholarship to pursue a Master’s degree in Educational Planning, Economics and International Development at UCL, with a special interest in migration and planning for higher education. Privately, her passions include acting, public speaking, dance, poetry, the cinema, and the endless pursuit of knowledge.
