Iain Espey grew up in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in South Carolina. After emerging from the backwoods, he earned his BA in Philosophy from Stanford University, where he wrote for the opinions section of the Stanford Daily newspaper.
Iain spent his first full year in London advising students on US university applications and teaching American literature at a secondary school for boys. He shows up painfully early to the cinema, among other places, and literally cannot keep away from Foyles. In the future, he hopes to teach.
