Rebecca's journey in study abroad began as an undergrad, coming to London for the Spring of her Junior year at Brandeis University. Her internship at the Royal Academy of Arts inspired her to study British art and eventually do a PhD in art history. Rebecca completed her PhD from the City University of New York (CUNY) in February 2022. She studies contemporary British monuments and memorials, with a specific focus in Holocaust memorials and British national identity. Rebecca immigrated to the UK in January of 2020, and in addition to looking, talking and teaching about art, she enjoys baking, a nice Sunday walk, and the theatre.
