About

Valerio Lintner has a background in Economics, Politics, Interdisciplinary Studies and European Integration. His teaching portfolio is equally diverse, encompassing courses on politics, business and economics. Valerio has published widely, with his academic research and writing focused on the European Union and the European Community. He has served as a Reader in European Economics at London Metropolitan University, has previously worked at the European University Institute in Florence, and is a visiting Professor at Universities in France, Italy and Iceland. Other professional affiliations have included membership of the National Committee of the University Association for Contemporary European Studies, the London European Research Centre and the EWPOC group of European Economists. Beyond academia, Valerio has a passion for Italy, reflected in his authorship of an Italian cookbook and a guide to Italy’s history for travellers.
