About

Hamad Khan holds an MSc from the University of Reading and an MBA from Southeastern University, USA. Prior to starting his career in academia, Hamad worked in the marketing and advertising sector for 11 years and worked in Pakistan, UAE and Malaysia and managed a portfolio of brands including HSBC, Unilever, GlaxoSmithKline and Reckitt Benckiser.  He has been an adjunct lecturer at FIE since 2015, where he teaches Creative Thinking for Advertising. As a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and an EdD candidate at the University of Bath, his research focuses on “Developing entrepreneurial competencies through assessment practices in higher education.” Hamad also teaches at Richmond American University, where he serves as Programme Director and Interim Head of Learning and Teaching. A dedicated AI enthusiast and advocate for curriculum and academic development, Hamad has led workshops and webinars on the use of AI in pedagogy and assessment practices for faculty across the UK, Europe, the USA, and Pakistan. In his spare time, Hamad enjoys playing tennis, cheering on Arsenal, and rarely misses a Bruce Springsteen concert.
