Christian Schnee has lectured in politics, public affairs, and political communication at British and American Universities since 2008. Prior to that, he held positions as a political consultant and senior civil servant in Germany. As a student in England, Scotland, and the USA he earned degrees in politics and history as well as education and completed a doctorate in political marketing at the University of Hull. His research in political history, the management of reputation and leadership has led to the publication of seven books and a dozen articles and research papers. He is a regular contributor to the print and online editions of Cicero, a leading German political news magazine. Currently, he works on a new book about the history of exiles in London. In his spare time Christian enjoys cycling and playing tennis.
