Dr Fiona Gibbs is a musicologist, professional violinist and Director of Music for Orchestra Vitae. After reading Music at Master’s level at King’s College, London she undertook her PhD at the Royal College of Music. Entitled ‘The Royal Albert Hall: A Case Study of an Evolving Cultural Venue’ her thesis explored the history, working life and perceptions of the RAH over its 150-year history.
