David is an expert in sustainable urban development and a Principal at the climate advisory firm, E Co. For nearly 15 years, David has advised governments, development banks, and private companies on low-carbon real estate and transport projects. From 2017-2018, he served as a Fellow at the Lincoln Institute for Land Policy, publishing research on climate finance, low-carbon transport, and land value capture. From 2019-2021 he was chief urban mobility expert at the UK’s innovation agency. David holds master’s degrees in urban planning and business from UCLA as well as a BA from Brown University. He hails from Washington, DC, and retains an American accent although he's lived in London since 2017.
