Just remember you may have classes or your internship Monday - Friday from 9 am - 5:00 pm so please don't make travel plans until you after you arrive in Dublin. There are many amazing world heritage sites, museums, theatres, and places of natural beauty you can see without ever leaving Dublin or Ireland! |
DUBLIN HOTSPOTS
You’ve chosen to study abroad in Dublin, so don’t forget to see as much of the city as you can! Explore the history and art of our National Museums (most of which are free to visit), the traditional culture of Temple Bar, and the wild deer in Phoenix Park. - Belfast - The capital city of Northern Ireland and the birthplace of the Titanic, Belfast is a hub for culture, arts, and nightlife
- Cork – A university city located on Ireland’s Southwest coast, home to the infamous Blarney Stone.
- Donegal – Known worldwide for it’s surfing opportunities and glorious coastline, it is a beautiful county to visit for a weekend
- Galway – Galway sits on the West Coast, where the River Corrib meets the Atlantic Ocean. Home to a vibrant night life and traditional Irish music, arts and crafts
- Kerry – Visit the popular Ring of Kerry and rive around the scenic Iveragh Peninsula
- Wicklow – A short drive from Dublin, Wicklow is home to the breath-taking natural attraction that is Glendalough, and Powerscourt Waterfall and Gardens. The area is known for it’s mountains, popular with hikers, and it’s country estates.
