Our mission statement guides our true ambition to bring people from around the globe together - which stands worlds apart from the violence and heartbreak of the events unfolding in Ukraine. FIE stands in solidarity with the people of Ukraine and hopes to build a future with a global vision of peace.
While FIE does not have any current participants located in Ukraine, we are committed to ensuring that all our participants in London and Dublin feel safe and supported, as well as heard should they want to donate time, supplies, or money to the humanitarian crisis.
Please see below for resources for students and our partners:
DONATIONS
Consider making a donation to IIE's Emergency Student Fund which assists international students in times of crisis, including Ukrainians right now.
Dóchas, the Irish association of development NGOs, has compiled a list of organisations with open appeals to support Ukraine: Charities ask people interested in supporting Ukraine to donate money rather than physical items
If you’d like to help, the most effective action you can take is to make a financial donation to one of the following charities. Any amount you can give will go a long way to helping those in need: Mayor of London - How You Can Help Ukraine, Ukrainian Institute, London - What Can You Do?
