Arriving in Dublin

If your school makes group arrangements in coordination with FIE, please follow your group’s instructions for arrival in Dublin. Check with your study abroad advisor.

FIE Dublin students live in Binary Hub student residence. You will be notified of your housing assignment aproximately 30 days before before your arrival.  All students will be met at Dublin airport by an FIE staff member and transported to their residence halls. If you are arriving outside the designated arrival slot you will have to make your own way to the residence halls. Please let a member of staff know before arrival if you plan to make your way independently from the airport.

You are required to inform FIE of your flight arrangements prior to your program.  If your scheduled flight is delayed, please contact FIE at:

 FROM DUBLIN AIRPORT

BY TAXI
A taxi from the airport to Binary Hub residence hall will cost between €25-€35. This is expensive, but if you are sharing a cab with another student and have heavy luggage, you may find it worthwhile. There are clear directions to the taxi stand in both Terminal 1 and 2.

BY BUS
There are no train services from Dublin airport so the only way, other than taxi, is to take the bus to Binary Hub. The address is:

Aparto, Binary Hub,
Bonham St, Dublin 8,
D08 R596

single journey on Dublin bus costs approximately €3. Drivers only accept coins (Euros) and do not give change.
