David Leipziger

David is an experienced practitioner in sustainable urban development.

His specialism is low-carbon innovation in the buildings, energy, and transport sectors.David served as the Innovation Lead for Cities & Mobility at the UK government’s innovation agency, and Associate Director in the Sustainability team at PwC.

He previously worked at Mott MacDonald, Arup, & the World Resources Institute delivering projects in Europe, Africa, Asia, & the Americas. 

In addition to advising governments, corporates, and development institutions, David has published academic research on sustainable cities and served as a Fellow at the Lincoln Institute for Land Policy. He holds an MBA and MURP from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) and a BA in Urban Studies from Brown University.
