This course examines how economic methods can be applied to the analysis and evaluation of healthcare options and systems, as well as how political, social, and technological factors affect the development of healthcare systems and decisions. Students will comparatively examine the provision of health care in the United States and the United Kingdom from the perspective of a variety of stakeholders and institutions.
